Directions to the farm can be found through Google maps. If following Satnav to BB4 9NG please ensure that you only access the farm from B6238 up Peers Clough Road ( clearly signed) DO NOT GO UP ANY OTHER ROAD!!
We are the cream coloured farmhouse on the hill.

Please aim to arrive at the farm 15 minutes before your ride. Toilet facilities are available.
On arrival at the farm you will be asked to fill in a ride booking sheet with the information as given below.

A brief description of your riding experience - as this may have been a few years ago, we also ask for current riding activity and fitness.
Please advise any medical / dietary requirements as appropriate.
Please ensure your own riding hat complies with current standards.
We have hats, and gloves, available.
We ask your permisssion for the taking of photographs and their use in our marketing and promotion.
If your ride is escorted on foot we are happy to take photos with your own phone.
Alternatively the ride leader will take photos as appropriate if convenient and safe.
You are responsible for your own equipment at all times.
Your information will be stored securely and not shared with any other party.
It is important to our planning and for your ride safety that we can keep this record through the season and from one season to the next. If you do not ride with us for 2 years this information will be destroyed.
Cancellation: We will cancel a ride if we consider that weather conditions will be unpleasant or dangerous.
Forecasting is very difficult and we never cancel lightly.
Please do not cancel your ride unless for a very good reason. We will have already allocated/ timetabled/prepared your pony.
A non-refundable deposit of £7 will be required at the time of booking.
£10 for rides of 2 hours and over.
If we cancel your ride, the deposit will be carried over.
Payment can be made in cash or by BACS transfer. Please ask for our bank details at the time of booking. We have no card facilities at the present time.
You will be asked to read the Code of Practice below and sign the disclaimer.
I acknowledge that riding is a potentially dangerous activity. I understand and accept that I ride at my own risk and therefore assume full responsibility for my own safety. I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Peers Clough Packhorse Code of Practice.(see below)

Peers Clough Packhorses Code of Practice
*All rides will be accompanied by a qualified ride leader, who will also hold a First
Aid at work certificate or equivalent
*All rides will carry a first aid kit, mobile phone, OS map and emergency survival kit
*All tack will be checked prior to departure by a staff member
*It is the rider’s personal responsibility to ensure they have appropriate footwear
and adequate outdoor clothing. Riding hats are available.
*All clients will be asked to disclose relevant medical history prior to ride, and to sign a disclaimer
*Hi-viz tabards will be provided
*We reserve the right to refuse riders if they do not comply with the instructions of leaders, are inappropriately equipped, or abuse our ponies or property
*Weather conditions are unpredictable, and it is the decision of the ride leader whether
the ride proceeds
*It is expected that riders are honest about their riding abilities
and also their weight - limit 14 stone /90 kg
*We will provide a pony that is fit, and in our opinion, suited to the rider’s ability and experience
